Description

Pigeoncote. c.1800. Red brick. Pyramidal slate roof topped with a single central glazed lantern with pyramidal roof with small ball finial. Entrances for birds around the base of the west side. Dentil eaves. Set on a plinth. Single storey, 2 bays. Each side has 2 round arched blind recessed panels with archivolts and continuous impost band. The north side, left panel, has a doorway under a segmental arch, the west side left panel has a doorway under cambered arch with panelled door and the right panel a single louvred wooden opening with glazing bar overlight under a cambered arch. The east side right panel has a single similar louvred opening. (NCC/js)
