Description

Watching brief during groundworks ahead of landscaping. Landscaped area lies at E end of churchyard between chancel and S transept. Excavation was to a depth varying between 0.25 and 0.45 m. A plan of the excavated area was drawn 1:50 and general colour photos taken. A representative area of section was cleaned and recorded. Monitoring of development groundworks within the churchyard recorded no in situ burials or features.
