Description

Large quantities of Romano British pot sherds were found in the weathered spoil from a ditch that had been cleaned and deepened (in 1966). A year or two later (than excavations in 1967, see ENT3496) the ditch was again deepened and widened. In the new spoil artefacts were discovered. (2)
