Description

Geophysical survey [was carried out] on selected field-boundary intersections [showing as cropmarks]. Two areas were surveyed with resitivity meter. Area D, 60x40m, showed a series of parallel lines of resistance over a band of low resistance, which represented the double ditch (shown to be the case by excavation in the adjacent trench D). The positions of the single ditches could not be interpreted from the surveyed area. (1) See E9039 for geophysics on area C, E9043 for trench D.
