Description

A watching brief during the construction of a new sewage treatment works at Langar, Notts. The excavation was carried out by a JCB with a flat bladed bucket on the back actor. The whole area of the floor and edges of the excavation was inspected and a record made of archaeologically significant sediments and features exposed. (1) See E9227 for topographic survey
