Full Description

A metalled surface of limestone slabs set on edge was exposed and partly removed. A scatter of pottery and clay pipes concentrated around the feature were almost all C17. It seems to have been part of a feature extending N into the existing yard of Limes Farm. Similar features had been noted during resurfacing of the existing yard some years ago. (1)
