Description
A programme of Archaeological Field Evaluation [was carried out] on land at Styrrup Hall Farm … to accompany a planning application … for the development of the land as a golf course. … an archaeologist was present at all times during the initial machining of the trenches in order to identify the level of soil removal and to identify archaeological features. The trenches were then fully cleaned by hand and planned and photographed. (1) [virtually nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered]
See E8994, E8995 and E8996 for other components of the evaluation.
