Description

Site 10 … an area of approximately 7ha was fieldwalked at 10m intervals, collecting all medieval and earlier finds. Although the field surface was relatively unweathered, thus reducing the likelihood of indentifying artefactual material, a substantial number of artefacts were recovered. (1) See E9006, E9008 for geophysics on this area. See E9007 for cross refs to A453 improvement scheme evaluations.
