Description

Four trenches were excavated through the braided channel sediments, all sediments of one trench (adjacent to the evaluation trench) were wet sieved to ensure that no small bones were missed. Samples were collected from tree remains present for dendrochronological analysis. (1) See E9094 for trial excavations, E9093 for casual finds, E9092, E9091 and E6060 for other events in this quarry.
