Description

NCC Heritage commissioned this survey to invesigate the site of the manorial complex adjacent to the standing building known as Sibthorpe Dovecote. … The combined methods of resistivity and magnetometer (sic) were used on this survey. … Magnetometer - readings were taken at 0.5 centres along traverses 1m apart, this equates to 800 sampling points in a full 20x20m grid. Resistivity - readings were taken at 1m centres along traverses 1m apart, this equates to 400 sampling points in a full 20x20m grid. (1)
