Full Description

The resistance survey shows clearly the trackway and associated embankment to the E of the site. At the NE corner the resistance survey loses the trackway (wich can be seen as an earthwork) but is picked up in the magnetometer survey as as a very strong area of magnetic disturbance. This suggests the trackway once ran along the N and E side of the site but has been infilled with material containing debris which is magnetic. (1)
This is the same feature as L8106, interpreted as ditch or moat.
See L11374,5,7 and 8 for other anomalies representing building foundations, garden features and possible bridge foundations.
