Description

Site inspection to monitor the excavation of six test pits dug for civil engineering purposes. The plant was a Case hydraulic digger fitted with a four-in-one front bucket and a 0.6m wide bucket on the back actor. The test pits were of the minimum dimensions necessary, generally in the order of 3x1m with a mean depth of 2.1m After recording all pits were backfilled. … No archaeological features or artefacts were met with.
