Watching brief carried out along the line of the new Severn Trent water main, laid along the N side of Station Road, East Leake. Up to 50m of pipe was laid during each one to two day phase of excavation and back-filling, in a trench varying from 1 to 1.2m in depth. … Approximately 700m of pipe was laid.
