Full Description

A solidly constructed drain cross the trench directly opposite the churchyard gate, aligned approximately north-east/south-west. Single lines of brick stacked two high, with no mortar, but with an overlapping bond. It was capped by thick Lias Limestone slabs. The size of the bricks suggests a 19th century date. (1)
