Description

Watching brief on the excavation of foundation trenches for new road signs along the A46. The work involved the renewal of 10 road signs on either side of the A46 at Brough. Most of these signs required a 1.5 x 1m foundation trench in the verge, each up to c.0.5m deep. (1) Grid ref for SW end, in Crococalana (trench N36).
