Full Description

Trench N30. A thin layer of compacted pebbles, c.0.05 - 0.1m thick, interpreted as possibly a metalled surface. This appeared to continue towards the modern carriageway, but not into the ploughed fields to the E. No dating evidence was recovered for this layer. (1)
