Description

Planning permission was granted for the removal of the topsoil and subsoil horizons prior to the extraction of raw gypsum. This permission was granted subject to the undertaking of an archaeological watching brief on a sample area of 50 x 50m, located at the E end of the position of evaluation trench 1. (1)
