Both features continued beyond the permitted extension of excavation towards the River Devon. Two cut featuresm linear feature [005] ran roughly E-W for some 18.5m. Some 1.3m wide and 0.2m deep over most of its exposed length. Neither artefacts nor other indicators of human activity, such as charcoal flecking, were found. Feature [007] was curvilinear running in gentle curve for some 14m before disappearing into the baulk again. Very shallow.
