Description

A total area of 3.2 ha was surveyed, this comprised two blocks, a northern block of 160 x 160m and a southern block of 160 x 40m. These were located to investigate putative ditches visible on aerial photographs. An FM18 fluxgate gradiometer was used to take readings at one metre intervals within each grid. (1) Grid ref centred. See E9426 for trial trenches.
