Description

The proposed development area covers c.19ha. 40 trenches measuring 5x2m were excavated parallel to the farm access with the intention of determining the extent of the RB deposits identified by the evaluation works of 2001. A further 28 trenches measuring 25x2m were excavated across the remainder of the site and were designed to provide a random sample, bringing the total amount to 1% of the area of investigation. (1) NB report lists 70 trenches.
