Description

An archaeological watching brief during the re-laying of floors within the chancel, nave and aisles. The objective of the watching brief was to monitor the excavation by others of the floor of the nave and part of the chancel, recording any archaeological stratigraphy present. This was subsequently increased to include both aisles. Monitoring of the relaying of floors within the chancel, nave and aisles recorded early foundations and details of the Willoughby Vault
