Fieldwalking undertaken on the proposed line of the Mansfield Southern Bypass. Approximately 75% of land area affected by the proposed scheme was available for walking. The area to be walked was laid out in transects spaced at 10m intervals. Finds were searched for and marked for a distance of up to 1m to each side of the centre line of each transect.
