Full Description

Fieldwalking - Only two flints from field 3. One, a butt fragment of a narrow polished axe, the tip of which had subsequently been used as a piercer. Its fine quality finish, total polishing and narrow, pointed shape would suggest a prestige item, possibly originally from a monument or burial. (1)
See L12191,3 and L12037 for further finds in this section.
