Description

The adjacent field to the SW, the site of the linear cropmarks, was weathered ploughsoil with good visibility. Rapid fieldwalking noted a scatter of artefacts, mostly C19 / C20 pot sherds and clay pipe stem fragments. (1) See E9526 for nearby watching brief.
