Full Description
Fieldwalking noted a scatter of artefacts, mostly C19 - C20 potsherds and clay pipe stem fragments. One stem fragment bears relief decoration to either side comprising a row of diagonal bars 3mm apart with three raised dots between each pair. Probably from Nottingham, where quality pipes with decorated stems were made in C18. (1)
See L12242 for medieval pottery.
