Description

Fluxgate gradiometer survey of land at St. Catherine's Cottage, Devon Park, Newark. Two areas of the garden were surveyed on ground formerly used as lawns. A third area, immediately E of the cottage, was considered unsuitable. Shrubs, trees and refuse heaps (which contained ferrous debris) limited the survey area to c.450 sq m. (1)
