Description

This fieldwalking survey forms part of a scheme of evaluation on land at Bole Ings for National Power prior to development of a new fuel ash storage facility adjacent to West Burton Power Station. Six fields were sampled. Finds were mainly modern with a small number of Roman pottery sherds. There was no evidence for centres of past human activity recorded by this survey.
