09/07 Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out an archaeological desk-based assessment of land at Beacon Hill Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire. The work was commissioned prior to seeking to obtain planning permission for residential development. Searches involving Archaeological databases, Historical & cartographic documents, Secondary sources, Geological/geotechnical information took place alongside a site inspection – with photos.
