Abstract/Summary

09/07 Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) carried out an archaeological desk-based assessment of land at Beacon Hill Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire. The work was commissioned prior to seeking to obtain planning permission for residential development. “The site of land at Beacon Hill Road has a generally low potential for archaeological remains of all periods, although there is a moderate potential for finds dating to the medieval period”. Report contains photographs of the site and historic and current maps.
