Description

A report for Severn Trent Water and their Construction partner North Midlands Construction concerning a feasibility design for a sewer flooding strategy to upgrade the network of sewers in Newark on Trent. The report calls on information from NHER and other sources, a map of the study area is provided and record of conversation between the developer and Senior NCC archaeologist. The report concludes that there is a high potential for archaeology. “Archaeological deposits related to the Civil War have the potential to be of national importance, whilst those of other periods are more likely to be of local or regional significance”.
