Abstract/Summary

A report for Severn Trent Water and their Construction partner North Midlands Construction concerning a feasibility design for a sewer flooding strategy to upgrade the network of sewers in Newark on Trent. The report calls on information from NHER and other sources, a map of the study area is provided. The report concludes that there is a high potential for archaeology. “Archaeological deposits related to the Civil War have the potential to be of national im-portance, whilst those of other periods are more likely to be of local or regional significance”.
