Jackson Design Associates were commissioned to undertake an assessment of the Archaeology and Cultural Heritage potential of a site to the north of Skegby Lane, Mansfield. NHER and other databases were consulted and well as published and unpublished sources. A walkover survey was undertaken in April 2013 to examine the area. Particular attention was paid to the current land use of all parts of the site and the likely effect on the condition of any buried archaeological remains.
