Description

The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches during a residential development, Moor Lane, Lower Bunny. Undated features were identified, 3 potentially of an early date. Given the nature of the CBM other features were likely to be of modern origin. No artefacts were retrieved. Top soil was partially stripped prior to excavation, selected deposits were partially or fully excavated by hand and assigned context numbers. The report contains section drawings of trenches, list of context numbers with description and photos of the site during the works.
