Description

8 timber samples from the roof of the main dwelling house the majority were felled in spring 1722. One roof timber felled earlier (ca 1578) and might be reused. 6 timber samples from the barn were analysed. Samples from the tie-beam and a south wall-post were felled in 1549. Other timbers in the barn, mostly the wall-plates, are estimated to have been felled between 1580 and 1605
