Description

A desk-based assessment of LiDAR data, satellite imagry, cartographic sources, designated and non-designated assets, and previous archaeological work. A site inspection of the Lowdham Conservation area was undertaken, as well as of the ridge-and-furrow that was identified from the LiDAR data. Ridge and furrow was identified in the Recreation Groud FSA, and while the ridge-and-furrow is considered of low resource value, it is an increasingly rare resource and it may mask earlier archaeology. The study area of the DBA was the a 500m radius of the project area.
