Description
Fifteen trial trenches were excavated (all approximately 50m x 2m), with most of them aiming to clarify the anomalies presented by a geophysical survey in 2017 by Magnitude Surveys. 7 trenches were found to have archaeology present. Overall, 5 gullies, 2 ditches, and 2 pits/gully termini were identified, with three artifacts found: 2 sherds of 19 c. pottery, and 1 piece of 18th-19th c. CBM.
