Description

Resistivity survey was conducted using a Geoscan RM15 Resistance Meter with a twin probe array configuration. In the southern half of the survey area, a number of linear/rectilinear anomalies were recorded in this area and on the site of the adjacent cloister and other abbey buildings. The results are not sufficiently comprehensive to distinguish traces of the abbey, the later structures, and related landscaping. The survey of the northern half of site shows evidence of a formal garden.
