Description

Dendrochronological sampling of timber recovered during stripping of land ahead of excavation at Newington South Quarry. A total of 75 natural timbers were selected from the first three phases of monitoring, which were sub-selected to 25 samples. A further five were retained during phase 4 monitoring.
