Description

17 trenches were excavated. The results and elements of this phase of excavation are detailed in SNT2385 (final report), and ENT2385. This report concludes that there was Roman activity largely during the 2nd c. AD, though later regional wares suggest continuation until the 3rd and 4th c. AD. There was a wide range of regional wares.
