Description
The business premises of Aquatic Control Engineering Ltd. lie within the curtilage of Hall Farm, and include a house, off Main Street on the south side of the village centre, with an adjacent office and car park. The ancillary warehouse, workshop and office building lies to the west, at an approximate central NGR of SK 79926 78320, and is separately accessed from Retford Road.
The evaluation consisted of one 20m x 2m trench, positioned to investigate the footprint of the planned warehouse extension: it was located within the grassed area at the west side of the proposed extension.
No indications of occupation or activity on the site pre-dating the construction of the existing warehouse/workshop building were seen during the evaluation.
