Description

The development area lies 140m northeast of the Parish Church of St George on the north side of Brown Lane. The foundation trenches were located to the north and east of the existing house. The archaeological monitoring revealed a sequence of natural sand and gravel overlain by a subsoil, which was overlain by topsoil. The land had been previously disturbed by a number of service pipes. There were no finds or features.
