Description

The site lay to the rear of the Nevile Arms Public House via a new cleared access way leading from the pub car park at the junction of Main Street and Owthorpe Lane. The trenches were between 0.7m and 1m wide. No archaeological features or finds were identified or recovered from the trenches, although the foundation trenches being excavated and filled prior to the visit was not conductive to the identification of archaeological features.
