Description

The site is situated within a moderately built up residential area on land off the main A606 road towards Nottingham. The plot sits within a large open space of land which has retained earlier land divisions consistent with a medieval historic village core. Archaeological observation and recording was maintained during intrusive groundworks associated with development. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were encountered during the course of the investigation.
