Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was conducted during the construction of a new dwelling on the site of the former house known as Brookside, Old Melton Road, Normanton-on-the-Wolds prior to the development of a single dwelling residence. Archaeological observation and recording was maintained during intrusive groundworks associated with development. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were encountered during the course of the investigation.
