Bartington Grad 601-2 Traverse Interval 1.0m Sample Interval 0.25m A number weak linear and curvilinear anomalies could be of archaeological interest, but the evidence is at best tentative; agricultural explanations are just as likely. Numerous other uncertain linear trends, discrete anomalies and zones of increased magnetic response have also been detected and are likely to be due to a combination of natural and agricultural processes; some of the linears are possibly land-drains. Ridge and furrow ploughing is visible in the dataset along with former field boundaries. The route of a small pipe has also been marked.
