Abstract/Summary

A magnetometer survey of 10 ha of land off Ashland Road, Sutton in Ashfield has recorded a number of responses of uncertain origin; although a few of the anomalies have linear and curvilinear shapes which could be of archaeological interest, they could easily be agricultural in origin. Ridge and furrow ploughing is visible in the dataset along with former field boundaries. The route of a small pipe has also been marked.
