Description

A metal detecting survey was conducted in the Sewage Works, Samworth Farms in the hopes of gaining more knowledge about Roman interaction around the site. In 2005, field walking revealed moderate numbers of pottery sherds, almost exclusively early Romano-British grey ware but no significant intact specimens.
