Description

A small-scale magnetic survey was carried out on Warsop West Field on the 16th December 2015. Instrument: Bartington grad 601-2 Grid size: 10m x 10m Sample interval: 0.25m Traverse interval: 1.0m Traverse method: Zigzag Area surveyed: 30m x 40m The survey has identified a number of linear and rectilinear anomalies. It is likely that these represent traces of Romano-British activity, including what may be enclosures or structural remains.
