Description

Timber sampling of 9 timber core samples (3 dateable) taken in 1994. Analysis showed that each of the 3 dateable samples had a different felling date range (1269, 1357 and 1534 [all -15, +20]). It was not possible to give a definitive construction date…except to say that it is unlikely to be before the early part of the C16.
