Description
The Project Site is within Mansfield Woodhouse, a settlement approximately 3km north of Mansfield. The site is currently occupied by Yeoman Park Academy, a school constructed in the 1970s.
There is little evidence for archaeological deposits to occur on the Project Site. Although there is some Prehistoric and Roman archaeology in the Study Area.
It appears that the Project Site was agricultural land on the periphery of the main settlement of Mansfield Woodhouse until the 20th century, when a school was constructed.
Construction activity associated with this building would have truncated any archaeology that might have been present.
